Paul O'mahony
My first year of professional theatre work was dedicated solely to Shakespeare - initially with Thelma Holt Ltd and Plymouth Theatre Royal (Taming of the Shrew) before a fantastic experience with the RSC in Stratford, Japan and the West End (Othello).
Shortly afterwards I began working regularly as an actor at the Orange Tree Theatre where my credits include Nan, Playgoers, Factors Unforeseen, Sing to me through open windows, Mary Broome, Mountain Hotel, Leaving, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Seven Year Twitch.
I’ve worked a lot with my own company, Out of Chaos, devising and performing in the award-winning UNMYTHABLE for several years, as well as Norsesome, Macbeth, Hippolytus and Out of Chaos.
Other theatre credits include Amy Evans’ Strike (Activated Image); Suppliants (BAC); Ice (ETO); Next Door (Out of Balanz); Under the Hammerbeam Roof (ETO). I’m an associate director of Actors From The London Stage and have toured the states with A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2010), Much Ado About Nothing (2014) and richard III (2016).
And here's a lovely short film I made for the Equality and Human Rights Commission
